All arrangements for the FLASHPACKERS of Ongarue are made on the condition that it shall not be liable for any sickness, injury, damage, loss, accident, delay or irregularity which may be occasioned, either directly or indirectly, by reason of any defect in any part of its buildings, equipment, operation or service, by weather, by any other cause, or through acts of default of a company or person engaged in hosting guests, or in carrying out arrangements for these activities.
Reservations and payments
To confirm your booking, a deposit of 25% of room / rooms cost must be paid to secure your room / rooms at the time of your decision to stay with us. Failing to pay a deposit could lead to double bookings. Overseas travellers are exempt from confirming their reservations with a deposit due to high bank charges and their reservations will be confirmed in a form of an of email.
Payment is preferred by direct credit into our bank account but we accept Visa, MasterCard and cash. Credit card payments will incur a 3% surcharge. Any extras, food, drinks, bike hire, transfers can be recorded on a tab basis and payment needs to be settled by check-out time 10.30am, plastic cards accepted on site.
Cancellations and refunds
Your 25% confirmation deposit is non-refundable, how many times do we see cancellations due to the weather forecast and on the day it turns out to be fine, sorry we deal with outdoor people and not a knitting class. However in some circumstances a voucher can be redeemable for the full amount minus $20 printing and postage costs.
If you or any member of your party have any medical condition, disability or food intolerance at the time of booking and/or at any other time until the completion of your stay with us which may affect your participation, please tell us so we can advise you of the suitability of your plans. If we reasonably feel unable to properly accommodate the particular needs of the person concerned, we must reserve the right to decline the booking.
